EXPN.com Wednesday, March 17, 2004 As early as Monday, March 8, the top pros on the planet began trickling into Tampa, FL, for the 10th annual Skate Park of Tampa Pro. But the real action started with Friday and Saturday's street qualifiers. For two days, 83 riders vied for fun, fame, glory ... and a share of the $50,000 purse. Before Friday's prelims, a handful of riders were taken out of the competition with injuries (incurred while practicing and partying) and a few pros (who will remain nameless to save them from embarrass ...
