OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Nate Johnson made a running layup with 11 seconds left to give Nebraska a 71-70 victory Tuesday night over Creighton in the opening round of the NIT. Johnson's shot capped the Cornhuskers' comeback from a five-point deficit in the final two minutes. Nebraska (17-12) advances to play the winner of Wednesday's game between Troy State and Niagara.
