ESPN Insider Monday, February 23, 2004 Portis Denver Broncos: Unbelievably, the club is considering trading RB Clinton Portis. According to the Denver Post, the Broncos and Redskins are closing in on a blockbuster deal that would send Portis to Washington for CB Champ Bailey. The Broncos also want a second-round pick in addition to Bailey. The deal would leave Quentin Griffin, Ahmaad Galloway and Mike Anderson as the only backs on the roster, and there are concerns whether any would be good enough to lead the team to the play ...
