A goalie who needs a day off, a former superstar who is tired of so many days off and a courageous captain getting dissed by his hometown fans. Just a few tidbits from around the NHL: Giving Turco a break Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr's NHL single-season record of 79 games played by a goalie will soon be safe for another year.
