American League Astacio Detroit Tigers: Pedro Astacio -- recovering from shoulder surgery -- recently had an open workout for major league clubs in the Dominican Republic and the Tigers liked what they saw. While conceding that he is not yet at 100 percent, Astacio, 34, will be healthy enough to pitch at least a portion of the 2004 season.
