Tuesday, December 30, 2003 American League Daubach Boston Red Sox: Popular Red Soxer Brian Daubach has returned to the team via a minor league contract that will afford him the opportunity to compete for a job in spring training, reports Bob Hohler of the Boston Globe. After four years in Boston, Daubach spent 2003 with the White Sox and had the worst year of his career. His other suitor was the St. Louis Cardinals, his favorite team growing up in Illinois.
