The first big snowboarding contest of the season went off this past weekend. If the riding I saw over the past two days is a sign of what to expect this year, then hold on to your beanies. Last year, the contest circuit was a little lackluster. With all the photo incentives out there, few riders really seemed into competing. It appears that's all changed.
