NHL Insider Tuesday, December 9, 2003 Nothing like a deadline to spark a little action in the NHL trade market. While the holiday roster freeze from Dec. 19-27 won't in itself spark more trades, a number of disappointing starts by assorted teams probably will. More than two months into the season, NHL general managers have a pretty good idea what needs must be addressed to get their clubs back on track or fill some of the final pieces of the puzzle for a good playoff run.
