James struggles in short-yardage situations

It may come as a shock, considering how many chances the Colts give him, but Edgerrin James has always been considered a poor short-yardage back. Until this year that is. The league average on short yardage rushing attempts (defined as 3rd and 4th downs with two or fewer yards to go, or goal line carries from the 2-yard line or closer) is 33 percent.
