Special to ESPN Insider Tuesday, November 4, 2003 In the beginning of Monday Night Football, home teams had a tremendous advantage. The excitement generated by Howard Cosell & Co. coming to town was enormous, and there were many, many upsets on Monday nights. Today a similar thing happens in college football when ESPN comes to town for a nationally televised night game.
