Quinn still the starter despite struggles

Through eight games the Irish are last in the nation in passing efficiency with a rating of 82.52. Notre Dame averages 183.1 passing yards a game and freshman QB Brady Quinn has completed only 44.7 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Opening day starter Carlyle Holiday hasn't fared much better, posting a 49.3 completion percentage and only 43.3 passing yards per game.
