Last week's 27-24 victory over UAB was a textbook example. The game was closer than it should have been, given TCU's lofty rankings and UAB's youth. But the Blazers led by eight points midway through the fourth quarter, and TCU quarterback Tye Gunn had gone to the bench with a groin injury. More injuries, more obstacles.
