ESPN.com Friday, October 17, 2003 OXFORD, Ohio -- Tragedy struck Ohio University's men's basketball program and the entire university community when Rachael Townsend, wife of assistant coach Brian Townsend, died Sunday after completing the Chicago marathon. The 29-year old Townsend collapsed shortly after finishing the race. The Chicago Tribune reported that she was pronounced dead at 12:30 p.m., 30 minutes after completing the race.
