ESPN.com Thursday, October 9, 2003 HONOLULU -- Kobe Bryant didn't take many shots in public during his days in Hawaii. He didn't make many of those shots, either. The last out-in-the-open glimpse of Bryant came Tuesday night at the Stan Sheriff Center, when he went all the way around the college 3-point arc in a near-empty arena, casually hoisting jumpers and missing a bunch of them short.
