Pierce selects Arizona St. over Oregon and Charlotte

Outstanding forward Tim Pierce of Oakland-Fremont, Cal., has committed to Arizona State over Oregon and Charlotte. Among others were Miami-Florida, Illinois and DePaul. Saint Louis pledged guard/forward Tommie Liddell of East St. Louis, Ill. Forward/center Justin Williams of Chicago-Thornwood, Ill/Colby CC, Kan., chose Wyoming over DePaul and Auburn.
