Quinn gives Irish offense hope

Notre Dame freshman Brady Quinn started last week against Purdue and threw for 297 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Purdue. Quinn, who was the first Notre Dame freshman to start at QB since Matt LoVechhio in 1999, also had four interceptions. He will likely start in two weeks when the Fighting Irish play at No. 22 Pitt.
