NBA Insider Monday, September 29, 2003 Training camps get underway around most of the NBA today -- at least for the young kids. A deal cut with the Players Association last February gave NBA veterans a long sought after concession -- the first few days off as training camp begins. That means no suicides, rudimentary defensive drills or annoying questions from the media for the likes of say, the Lakers, whose starting five are all veterans with at least four years or more of experience in the league.
