Perry joins Purnell at Clemson

Clemson and new coach Oliver Purnell have pledged Class 2004 forward/guard Sam Perry of Piedmont-Woodmont, SC., over Tulane, Duquesne and Charleston. The Tigers recently gained forward Cheyenne Moore of South Kent Prep, Conn., who had decomitted from Georgetown. Carlton Reed, a Class 2004 guard from Waterloo-East, Ia., picked the Iowa Hawkeyes over Kansas State, Illinois State and Creighton.
