Class 2004 prospect Jake Schmidt, a center/forward from Thermopolis, Wyo., has committed to Utah and coach Rick Majerus. Guard Jermaine Calvin, a guard from Tempe-McClintock, Ariz., recently picked the Utes. Rhode Island has Class 2004 forward Will Daniels of Hyde Park-FDR, NY., over Rutgers, St. Bonaventure, Providence, Virginia Tech and Richmond.
