DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Five years had passed since Duke won two straight games, a span that saw the Blue Devils come up just short in countless close games. On Saturday night, things worked out for a change. Brent Garber kicked a 30-yard field goal in overtime as the Blue Devils beat Rice 27-24, winning consecutive games for the first time under coach Carl Franks.
