Special to ESPN Insider Wednesday, September 3, 2003 The Labor Day holiday completed one of the more promising opening weekends in C-USA history, despite a couple of notable stumbles. UAB won on the road at Baylor. Louisville handled Kentucky on the road. Houston opened with a rout of Rice and defending co-champs TCU and Cincinnati had big wins. And after a couple of years of defenses dominating the league, the big offense might be coming back into vogue. Four C-USA teams scored 40 points or more over the weekend.
