Wednesday, August 27, 2003 The first visit to Darlington Motor Speedway provided one of the best finishes in recent memory, as PPI's Ricky Craven edged Roush's Kurt Busch by mere inches. The race saw many contenders get eliminated, including Hendrick Motorsports driver Jeff Gordon, who dominated the last half of the race before going to the garage after scraping the wall.
