NCAA waives transfer rule for Baylor cagers

Baylor's request that the NCAA waive its rule that transfers must sit out one academic year before playing for their new school was granted, NCAA spokesman Jeff Howard said. Three players have transfered from Baylor after former head coach Dave Bliss resigned amid major NCAA rules violations. Junior guard Kenny Taylor of Sugar Land-Willowridge, Tex., who was third in scoring with 11.8 points average for the Bears last season, picked Texas.
