ESPN Insider Tuesday, August 19, 2003 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: After weeks of negotiations, the team is close to signing DT Anthony McFarland to a six-year extension. "I feel like we should be able to get this thing done here within the next 48 hours,'' McFarland's agent, Karl Bernard, told the Tampa Tribune. "We haven't finalized everything yet, but it's been imminent for a while, so it should happen any day now."
