Wednesday, August 6, 2003 The Winston Cup circuit visits the second road course of the season at the 2.45-mile Watkins Glen International Speedway. The road course, with its 11 turns, has a variety of banking, ranging from 6 to 10 degrees and longer straightaways than its counterpart, Infineon. With the longer straightaways comes the need for more horsepower to go along with a solid gear package since drivers will be shifting throughout the entire course.
