Connor selects Nittany Lions over ND, Michigan

Penn State has pledged one of the nation's top Class 2004 linebackers in Dan Connor of Wallingford-Strath Haven, Pa., over 40 other offers topped by Notre Dame and Michigan. The Nittany Lions recently pledged defensive lineman/tight end Josh Gaines of Fort Wayne-Northrop, Ind., over offers from Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue and Michigan State.
