Wednesday, July 30, 2003 The Winston Cup series heads to the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the biggest race next to the series opening Daytona 500. A week after a trip to Pocono, which has three corners, drivers will see a 2.5-mile superspeedway that has four straightaways -- 3,300-foot front and back stretches with 660-foot short chutes between corners 1 and 2 and corners 3 and 4.
