Tuesday, April 29, 2003 I'm afraid the "chicks dig the long ball" slogan that was devised by ESPN's promotional department last year has affected the brains of Major League Baseball managers this year. Chicks and those calling the shots from the dugouts dig the home run hitters so much that few teams west of the Florida Marlins are trying to steal a base in 2002. And it's bugging the hell out of us fantasy managers. I know, I know you hear the baseball purists scoffing already. Those who have hated Rotisserie Baseball ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
