But the cool weather was just another sign that it wasn't yet time for spring and the sound was Hideki Matsui's first big moment in pinstripes. As Matsui, the 28-year-old power-hitting rookie outfielder from Japan, circled the bases after smacking a fifth-inning grand slam in the Yankees' home opener, fans continued their chant of "Mat-sui!
