Friday, April 18, 2003 Newsday refers to Roger Cedeno as "underachieving" but, now that he is 29, we must consider that what we are seeing from the Mets outfielder is not underachievement, but rather the state of his art. Cedeno In 1999, Cedeno did some nice things for a player of his sort. He got on base a lot and stole everything that wasn't protected by LoJack.
