ESPN.com Tuesday, February 18, 2003 Starting Thursday, teams can begin cutting veteran players to get under the salary cap. Though teams don't have to get under the cap until the beginning of March, the list of potential cuts could be better at certain positions than some positions on the list of unrestricted free agents.
