PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Rafael Araujo scored 22 points and added 15 rebounds as BYU beat UNLV 85-77 Thursday night in the Mountain West opener for both schools. Mark Bigelow had 21 points and Travis Hansen added 20 for the Cougars, who withstood a furious comeback sparked by Marcus Banks. BYU (12-4) extended the nations longest home-court winning streak to 44 games. The loss snapped UNLV's five-game winning streak.
