Players in helmet-throwing brawl after playoff game

MACOMB, Ill. -- Players from Western Kentucky and Western Illinois got into a helmet-throwing brawl after Saturday's Division I-AA playoff game. The fight started soon after Western Kentucky began celebrating its 31-28 quarterfinal victory. Western Illinois spokesman Jason Kaufman said there were no serious injuries. A Western Illinois player broke his tooth, and a Western Kentucky player had a cut on his nose. A WKU manager also had a cut near his right eye. Macomb police repo ...
