If USC beats Notre Dame on Saturday and Carson Palmer excels once again, should he win the Heisman Trophy? Troy Pilalas, Newport Beach, Calif. First of all, USC has too many athletes for Notre Dame and the game being played in Los Angeles is a huge advantage for the Trojans. They and Kansas State are the two hottest teams in the nation right now. And with a great game on national television Palmer would certainly have a shot at being the Heisman frontrunner because the race is so wide-open. ...
