Special to ESPN.com Wednesday, September 11, 2002 One day in late August, Jared Lorenzen walked off the Kentucky practice field, pulled the helmet off his naturally blonde head and revealed hair the color of aged artificial turf. Seems that the night before, Lorenzen got the idea in his famously large melon that it might be fun to have blue hair. But the dye job was about as successful as Big Jared's tenure as a starting college quarterback had been to that point.
