Tuesday, September 10, 2002 PHILADELPHIA -- Former Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Sinclair signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday. Sinclair, who spent 11 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, has 73½ career sacks. He replaces Derrick Burgess, who will be out 8-to-10 weeks with a broken right foot. To make room for Sinclair, the Eagles released tight end Tony Stewart, a fifth-round pick last year. Stewart, who went to Penn State, caught five passes for 52 yards and one touchdown last season.
