Parker to S.C.; Wright to announce on Sept. 12

Touted redshirt sophomore center/forward Jason Parker of Charlotte-West Charlotte, N.C./Fork Union Military Academy, Va., who was dismissed by Kentucky, is a walk-on at South Carolina. Parker, dropped by the Wildcats for violating team policy, averaged 8.6 points and 4.7 rebounds as a true freshman.
