FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- With only an easy field-goal attempt separating San Diego State from a surprising upset, Raymond Washington saved Fresno State by using his head and his elbow. Washington leaped high to block Tommy Kirovski's 31-yard kick as time expired, giving Fresno State a 16-14 victory over San Diego State on Thursday night despite the absence of two key players.
