Quinn, Samardzija choose Notre Dame

Top 150 quarterback Brady Quinn of Dublin-Coffman, Ohio, and touted receiver Jeff Samardzija of Valparaiso, Ind., have committed to Notre Dame. Quinn chose the Irish over Michigan. Others were Ohio State, Indiana, Louisville, South Carolina and Tennessee, among many others. He passed for 2,200 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior.
