LSU guard Dorrell leaves team

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU guard Scholanda Dorrell has left the Lady Tigers basketball team for personal reasons, coach Sue Gunter said. Dorrell, a native of Miami, averaged 10.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 29 games as a freshman last season. "Scholanda will certainly be missed,'' Gunter said. "She was a big part of our success last year.'' LSU was 18-12 last season and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
