Top 100 forward Leon Powe of Oakland-Tech, Calif., has committed to California over Kansas, Maryland and North Carolina. Among many others were Florida, Louisville, Texas, Duke, Kentucky and Arizona. Powe averaged 27 points and 15 rebounds as a junior. Karron Clarke, a Top 100 forward from Brooklyn-Lincoln, N.Y./Winchendon School, Mass., committed to Miami (Fla.) over Cincinnati, Syracuse, Illinois, Texas and Pittsburgh, among many others.
