One of the big questions in the next month is how many teams will be willing to make a big, go-for-it-now kind of deal if a labor war seems unavoidable? Maybe not many. Three GMs told us in the last week they'd be reluctant to trade a big-time prospect for a potential free agent who could get them to the playoffs if they can't be reasonably sure there will be playoffs to get to.
