Flynn to LSU; Miss. St. gets Top 100 forward

The early rush for football commitments gets into high gear, while Mississippi State has pledged one of the nation's top basketball forwards. The LSU Tigers have a commitment from quarterback Matt Flynn of Tyler-Lee, Texas, over offers from Alabama, Colorado, Purdue, Arizona, Baylor, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Tulane.
