Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas were ranked in the Top 10 almost every week, yet still weren't strong enough to keep Colorado from winning the title. But the bowl season somewhat tarnished the reputation of the conference as both BCS representatives suffered lopsided losses and the two other power teams looked sloppy in victories.
