There Stephon Marbury is, on video, shirt somewhat buttoned, making his feelings clear to Bruce Beck of New York's WNBC.
He says, based on Donnie Walsh's comments, he plans to be a Knick. He says he has been working out hard, and is at 200 pounds and 7.5% body fat. He says he has a lot to prove.
He says he won't take one penny less than he is owed from the Knicks. There will be no negotiated buyout.
He says he has "got ego and pride to the side."
He accepts no responsibility for any errors in the past, really. He says Isiah Thomas gave him permission to leave the team in that complicated incident last season.
He also says that Boston and Miami need point guards.
