  • Did I keep the original Bullets thin so that I could re-introduce the Wizards joke? Of course not! I mean, I'm perfectly capable of that, and will likely do it tomorrow; but it's not the case today.
  • I could not believe this when I saw it yesterday. The Painted Area, fresh off one of the better (if not the best) breakdown of the FIBA Americas tourney, has put together an exhaustive Eurobasket preview that is well worth your time.
  • Worthy of another Wizard: Jay Aych previewed and broke down the respective skills and chances of Group A.
  • And B.
  • And C.
  • And D.
  • Thanks to reader Jericho: rumor has it you can watch the Eurobasket Tourney for free at this link, but I'm not having much success. Nothing illegal, it just looks as if FIBA has yet to start charging.
  • Jason from Ballhype is back with yet another tribute to one of the more beloved bloggers on the sizz-ene, one Miss Gossip.
  • A little off the NBA path, but a very good and sobering look at the role of women in professional sports by the Sports Media Watch.
  • Why won't Lorne Michaels release a best-of Tom Schiller's films on DVD? If there isn't enough material, just throw in Adam McKay's brilliant short pieces.
  • Marc Spears is with the Boston Globe now, and this column (as a Kevin Garnett fan) worries me more than it comforts. The point is to play until late June, so pace yourself, KG.
