Networked Journalism Summit: well worth it.

With any luck, you'll be seeing the results in action in the near future. 

At the link above, in fact, you can learn the vast majority of what I learned, thanks to a posse of industrious CUNY graduate journalism students who blogged a lot of the goings on.

What you can not do, however, at the link above, is sip free Corona while getting to know a die-hard ClipperBlog fan who likes to make original Clipper-themed video. (You also can not stand up to shake someone's hand, knocking said Corona to its side, dribbling la cerveza mas fina across the table and on to your laptop bag, ensuring that you will forever smell like a brewery wherever you take your computer from now on.)

I made stars in my notes when I heard an idea that made me think: I should do that on TrueHoop. There are about 40 stars in my notes. Cool! I'd give you some highlights, but I'm on a very crowded bus and it's just not possible to get at those notes right now.
