To the Summit!

Yesterday was a weird day on TrueHoop because I found myself writing a lengthy and fairly intense blog post on ... market research in Indiana.

I'm just guessing that if you want to get big traffic on your NBA blog, this is not the way to do it. You'd be better off, most assuredly, just putting up photos of celebrities sitting courtside. Even B-team celebrities like Dyan Cannon.

It also meant that I didn't do the bullets.

As an ode to audience building everywhere, I'm going to follow that up with another day lacking real bullets and real celebrities: I recently lobbied for, and was lucky enough to get, an invite to the Networked Journalism Summit. (I learned about it from the blog BuzzMachine, which has a great description, and I'm hoping it will help kick off some cool TrueHoop projects.) I'm on the bus to New York City as I write.

That doesn't mean there will be nothing on TrueHoop today. I'll pop in when I can.

But it does mean that tomorrow we will return to our regularly scheduled programming.
