Some brief thoughts:

• LeBron James will be credited, forever, with eight made baskets in this game. But unless my eyes are lying to me, he made nine. Didn't everyone else notice that LeBron James tipped in Antonio McDyess's shot to score Detroit's last basket, with four seconds left? I watched it several times, and I am not buying the idea that was an Antonio McDyess putback. (Why on earth did no one mention that on the broadcast? Not even when it came up in the highlights "they get the tip to go ...")
  
• Daniel Gibson was obviously fantastic -- and he also clearly has a touch of the flopper about him.
• Let the record reflect that sometimes, after getting psycho mad, Rasheed Wallace does not play all that well. After his technical in this game he hoisted a hopeless and poorly thought out fallaway three and then a few seconds later he made his team wait to get in their offense because he was so slow down the court.
• How about Danny Crawford getting that toy ball off the court without stopping play?
• LeBron James took a terrible shot of his own with about 2:40 left -- shortly after his step-back longball, he tried a three drifting side to side. Looked like it had no chance, and it missed pretty badly.
• Maybe Larry Hughes wasn't the key to making Chauncey Billups ineffective after all.
• I'm sure a lot of Detroit fans are probably upset about that last foul on Rip Hamilton. He did intentionally impede Eric Snow, but I have the feeling that in Detroit that's over-and-back.
• Speaking of Rip Hamilton, how did he not get more touches down the stretch? His shot was falling nicely.
  
• If Donyell Marshall had hit that three the other night, the Cavaliers -- a team no one much respected this year -- would be virtually assured a spot in the NBA Finals.
• UPDATE: One last thing -- anyone wondering why Jason Maxiell wasn't in the game more? I can't answer for certain, but I can tell you that Maxiell had the worst plus/minus of any player on the court.
