Luke Schenscher It's ridiculous and childish to make fun of someone for the way they look.

But people do it, and sometimes it's hilarious.

The Luke Schenscher story, which I have confirmed with rigorous fact checking (it's on some message boards and kind of here) is that when his Georgia Tech team played at Duke, at least one fan dressed up like Ronald McDonald, with a big sign that said "LUKE, I AM YOUR FATHER."

That's like 47 different Americana icons in a one-sentence story. And he's Australian!

Anyway, the last few months have been pretty hard on Blazer big men, meaning NBDL call up Schenscher will see long minutes tonight in the most important game of Golden State's history. Well, not really, but a big game for Golden State, to be sure.

These late-season Blazers are not good, but they play hard every second. If Schenscher has the game of his life, the Blazers win, and the Clippers beat the Hornets (three tall orders) then people in the Bay Area will never be able to eat McDonald's again.
